A great way to find out which pellets suit your gun at a fraction of the cost of full tins . . . Every rifle is different, even when they come from the same batch. We are all being told “every gun is different” – what we mean is that each gun, even consecutive serial numbers, has slightly different characteristics. Although most guns will perform reasonably well with most pellets there are always some terrible pellet groups – why buy a full tin to shoot twenty pellets and then decide that they don’t work in your gun?The mystery of why different guns react to the same pellets the way they do is just that, a mystery. Some manufacturers produce their own pellets, but mostly they put their brand on a pellet that, on average, works well in their guns. Sometimes a pellet is developed in conjunction with their designers specifically for their guns. However that is a general rule and will almost always be improved with experimentation. Shoot twenty of each and then select the best before trying a full tin. Whatever you are shooting I’m sure you feel you can get better results. Field Target, Hunting or Target shooting with either rifle or pistol, 12ftlb or FAC, I aim make finding the best pellet available to everyone without breaking the bank – or ending up with tins of pellets that don’t get used.
The only way to find the best pellet for your rifle is to shoot different makes and types of pellet through your gun until you find the pellet that work best for you.
Sample packs allow you to try a range of different pellets to see what works best in your gun before buying larger amounts.
